Sample management and biobanking – essentials for HRO projects

When it comes to HRO projects, it’s all about data and samples. If you want to keep the quality of your samples high, they need to be stored properly – and you need to be able to find them easily for further use, for shipment or for additional testing. This session focuses on the 101 of biobanking for HRO projects and explains the essentials of storage setup and maintenance.

After a short presentation, there is plenty of time for you as researchers to ask questions.

About this session

This session provides an insight into the most important aspects of biobanking for HRO projects. In collaboration with the Swiss Biobanking Platform (SBP), it presents common practices in different hospitals and gives practical and organisational tips for setting up and maintaining biobanks.
